This Sunday at 2pm our ladies face Tamworth FC in the 1st Round Qualifier in the FA Cup.
 
Borrowash Victoria Ladies have quite an illustrious past with the Womens FA Cup when in season 2029-20 were the only ever team from the East Midlands Regional League to make it to the First Round Proper when they were formerly Woodlands FC Ladies. Having beaten Arnold Town Ladies, Hykeham Ladies, they found themselves drawn against Bedworth Town Ladies who themselves were looking to reach the 1stRound Proper. With Bedworth being several levels higher, it was a huge upset for Borrowash ( Woodlands FC ) to win the game 4-3. In the first round proper, the Ladies drew Billericay who proved to be too strong for the ladies but history had already been for made.
Formed from the old Woodlands FC Ladies, Borrowash Victoria Ladies have again tried to emulate their past achievements but have never quite reached the levels to overcome Leicester Ladies or Whitchurch Alport Women most recently

So this Sunday the Ladies try again with new purpose following their league win last season. Tamworth are one step above Borrowash in the West Midlands Regional League finishing in 8th place last season so in theory there shouldn’t be much between both sides.
